Cindy Slayback
Founder & Principal Designer
My path to design wasn’t a traditional one. I spent twenty years as a flight attendant before trading one kind of hospitality for another — training at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and turning a lifelong eye for detail into a career. I founded Haute Designs in February of 2019, guided by a conviction that has never wavered — that a home deserves to be envisioned as a whole, long before the first wall ever comes down. I brought the studio to Zelienople in 2020, building out our Main Street showroom and opening our doors with a soft launch that May of 2021, building the studio around a turnkey approach that was uncommon in the region at the time, and rarer still executed with true craft.
My clients know me for weekly site visits, candid guidance, and a showroom that feels like a curated design library. Zelienople knows me for something more — as a past president of the Zelienople Rotary, a longtime volunteer with Meals on Wheels, a member of ZABA and 100 Women Who Care, and someone who believes a business owes its hometown the same devotion it owes its clients. I’m also a member of PWB, BAMP, and NKBA, communities that keep me connected, sharpened, and accountable to the standard of my craft.
For me, every design begins with a conversation. It ends with clients happily settled into a space that’s every bit as livable as it is beautiful.
Logan Vunora
Interior Designer
Logan Vunora is an Interior Designer with two years of experience in kitchen and bath renovation. He began his career as an Intern/Project Coordinator with Haute Designs while completing his undergraduate degree in Interior Design at IUP. His fascination with design stems from an early appreciation for creativity and the arts. From rearranging his bedroom as a child to exploring architecture and finding inspiration in museums and galleries, Logan’s appreciation for creative expression continues to shape the way he designs today.
For the past two years, he has served as Finance Director for the ASID Chapter of PA West. Through continuing education and an ever-expanding network, he strives to create meaningful, elevated spaces that enhance his clients’ homes and everyday lives.
Micah Howell
Trusted Partner (General Contractor)
My career began as a machinist during my teenage years, where I developed a strong appreciation for precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Although I enjoyed machining, I was always drawn to carpentry. When the opportunity arose to enter the construction industry, I took it and never looked back.
Over the past 26 years, I’ve gained hands-on experience in nearly every aspect of home building and renovation. While my skills have continued to grow, the discipline and meticulous approach I learned as a machinist remain the foundation of my work today.
Fifteen years ago, I founded my own company with the goal of helping homeowners bring their ideas to life. I enjoy collaborating with Haute Designs to create functional, beautiful spaces and custom features our clients can enjoy for years to come. There is nothing more rewarding than transforming a vision into reality through design & quality craftsmanship.
Over the years, I’ve learned that the success of any company isn’t built by one person—it’s built by the people who share the same commitment to quality and integrity. Our team is the foundation of everything we do, and I believe investing in great employees creates better craftsmanship, a better experience for our clients, and a company we’re all proud to be a part of.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Miranda, and our children, Asher and Aria. Whether we’re taking our dog to the park, riding bikes, swimming, or enjoying time with family and friends, I cherish these memories together. They keep me grounded, remind me of what’s most important, and inspire the same dedication and care that I bring to every project.
